How Buzzfy works
The basics of what Buzzfy does and why it grows your account.
What does Buzzfy actually do?
Buzzfy connects to your Instagram account and automatically creates new video variants of your best-performing Reels — adjusting things like the hook, pacing, audio, and captions — then publishes them as Trial Reels and tracks how they perform. It runs on autopilot: once you connect Instagram, there is nothing to pick, edit, or post manually.
What are Trial Reels, and why don't my followers see them?
Trial Reels are a native Instagram feature — not a Buzzfy invention. Instagram shows them only to people who don't follow you yet, never to your existing followers. That's the whole point: every variant Buzzfy posts is a fresh shot at reaching a brand-new audience, without cluttering your main feed for the people who already follow you.
So even though a variant appears on your profile, your followers aren't seeing it as a duplicate — it's being served to a different set of non-followers each time.
Why do my two daily posts look like the same Reel?
Buzzfy posts multiple variants of one source Reel per day rather than one variant of many different Reels. Each variant is shown to a different new audience, so your reach scales with the number of variants — not with how many source videos you have. We pick your most-viewed Reels as the source, since those are the ones already proven to perform.
There are three variant types:
- Smart Edit variants change the hook, pacing, audio, and framing — these are the visually distinct ones.
- Canvas variants reframe your Reel inside a fresh background so it reads as a new post.
- Subtitle variants only change the on-screen captions, so by design they look nearly identical to the source at the thumbnail level, but let you safely re-share a winning Reel.
Because the source video is shared, thumbnails can look the same — the differences show up on playback.
How does this actually help me grow?
Since Trial Reels are shown only to non-followers, every variant Buzzfy publishes is a new chance to be discovered by people who've never seen your content. That reach is separate from — and additive to — your normal feed and existing followers. The more proven variants we post, the more new audiences your best content reaches.
Free trial & promo codes
Trial length, promo codes, and the signup flow.
How long is the free trial?
No credit card is required to start a trial. Organic signups get a 3-day free trial. If you sign up with a valid invite code, you get the trial length attached to that code (often longer). When the trial ends, your account pauses and no new Trial Reels are published until you subscribe — anything already posted stays up.
How do I use a promo code?
You add your promo code after signing up, from your dashboard — there's no code field on the signup form. Go to Dashboard → Settings, enter your code, and your free trial is extended right away.
Note that only one promo code can be applied per account. If your code won't apply or you think the extension didn't land, email bugra@buzzfy.co with the code and your account email and we'll sort it out.
Am I "stuck" on a paid plan? I only see the paid option
You're almost certainly already on the free Trial plan. The yellow “Limited Time Offer” banner on the billing page (get the yearly plan for a discount during your trial) is just an upsell — it does not mean you have to pick a paid plan to continue. You can use your full trial without subscribing. If your billing page still looks wrong, email a screenshot to bugra@buzzfy.co and we'll confirm your account state.
Connecting Instagram
Fixing connection errors and stalled posting.
"Sorry, this page isn't available" / "profile not found" when I connect
This is almost always a multi-account mismatch between the Instagram account you're logged into in your phone's browser and the one in the Instagram app — not a Buzzfy outage.
The quickest fix is our reconnect link, which forces Instagram to show its login screen so you can pick the exact account you want:
Still stuck? Sign out of Instagram in your phone's browser, then tap Connect Instagram in Buzzfy again and log in with the account you want to connect.
"Activity off Meta technologies is turned off" error
This is a Meta account-level privacy setting that blocks third-party apps from connecting. To fix it:
- Open Meta Accounts Center (Instagram app → Settings → Accounts Center, or accountscenter.instagram.com).
- Go to Your information and permissions → Activity off Meta technologies.
- Turn it on / stop it from restricting third-party apps.
- Return to Buzzfy and tap Connect Instagram again.
It was working, but now nothing posts / my queue is stalled
If Buzzfy was posting and then suddenly stopped, Instagram has most likely invalidated your account's authorization — this commonly happens after a password change or a Meta-side security check. Your dashboard can still look connected even though the link needs to be re-established.
Reconnecting fixes it in one tap:
My account is fine but no Trial Reels are posting
Instagram gates Trial Reels behind its own eligibility rules (based on account size and activity). If your account doesn't currently meet them, Buzzfy keeps generating your variants but pauses publishing until you're eligible — this is an Instagram-side limit, not a Buzzfy bug, and it typically resolves as your account grows. In the meantime your Virality Score is unlocked so you still get value. If you think something else is wrong, email bugra@buzzfy.co and we'll check your account.
Billing, cancellation & refunds
Managing your subscription, cancelling, and refund policy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime, in a few clicks:
- Go to your Dashboard → Billing.
- Click Cancel at the bottom of the billing page and confirm.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again. We don't offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods. If you can't reach the billing page, email bugra@buzzfy.co from your account email and we'll help.
What is your refund policy?
All sales are final, and we don't offer refunds except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at bugra@buzzfy.co within 14 days of the charge and we'll look into it.
Before that, though — if something isn't working (Instagram won't connect, nothing is posting), reach out first. Most “it doesn't work” issues are a quick reconnect or account fix, and we'd much rather get you up and running than see you go.
Will I be charged automatically when my free trial ends?
No. We don't ask for card details when you sign up, so there's nothing for us to charge — you'll never be billed automatically at the end of your trial. When the trial ends, your account simply pauses and stops publishing new Trial Reels until you choose to subscribe. Anything already posted to Instagram stays up. You only ever pay when you decide to pick a plan.
I paid but can't find my account
This almost always means you're signed in to a different account (or aren't signed in) rather than a missing subscription. Reset your password using the exact email address you signed up with from the password reset page, then log back in — your subscription will be there. If you still can't see it, email bugra@buzzfy.co from that same address and we'll locate your account.
Can I get an invoice with my company details?
Once a Stripe invoice is finalized it can't be edited retroactively, so we can't reissue a past invoice with new company/billing details — but updating your details means all future invoices will reflect them. Email bugra@buzzfy.co with the company name and billing address you'd like on file.
How do I change the email on my account?
For security, we can only change your account email when the request comes from the currently registered address — that way nobody else can move your account to their address. Email bugra@buzzfy.co from the email your account is currently signed up with, and tell us the new address you'd like to use.
