AI Avatar Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

AI Avatar makes videos of you with AI. It builds a digital version of your face and voice from your photos, reels and recordings, and uses it to make new videos: scripts, new hooks and new looks for your reels. You agree to this policy before you use AI Avatar. It adds to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

1. Only you

  • You may make an avatar of yourself only. The photos, reels and voice recordings you give us must show and sound like you, the person who owns this Buzzfy account and the connected Instagram account.
  • You must be 18 or older.
  • Don't upload photos or recordings of anyone else, including children, and don't use AI Avatar to make a video of anyone else.

2. What you may not make

You may not use AI Avatar to make videos that:

  • pretend to be another person, or use another real person's face, voice or name, including celebrities, public figures and politicians
  • are sexual or show nudity
  • deceive people, such as fake news, fake reviews, fake endorsements, scams or fraud
  • are made to mislead voters or interfere with an election
  • harass, threaten or bully anyone, or promote hate or violence
  • break the law, Instagram's rules, or anyone's copyright, privacy or publicity rights

Don't remove or hide anything that marks a video as made with AI, and don't try to get around the safety checks of the AI models we use.

3. Saying it's AI

Videos made with AI Avatar are generated by AI. You are responsible for labelling them as AI where the law or the platform requires it, including Instagram's AI label, also when Buzzfy posts a video as a trial reel for you.

4. Your face and voice

  • What we collect: the photos you upload or that we take from your Instagram posts, the reference sheet and looks we make from them, voice recordings from your reels or that you upload, the voice model made from them, and the videos you make.
  • Why: only to make your AI Avatar and your videos. We don't use them to identify you, we don't sell them, and Buzzfy doesn't use them to train AI models.
  • Who processes them: Buzzfy and the providers that run the AI models for us: OpenAI, Google, fal (which runs models such as Kling, Wan and MiniMax), ElevenLabs and TypeSafe. They process your data to make your videos, under their own terms.
  • Biometric data: some laws treat a face or voice model as biometric data. By agreeing to this policy, you consent to us creating and using yours as described here.
  • How long we keep them: while you use AI Avatar. To delete your photos, looks, voice recordings, voice model and AI Avatar videos, email support@buzzfy.co from the address on your account. We delete them, including the voice model at our voice provider, within 30 days.

5. Other creators' reels

AI Avatar studies public reels by other creators to suggest topics and hooks. Use them as ideas: don't copy another creator's words, and never use another person's face or voice.

6. Your videos are your responsibility

You decide what to post. Check every video before you post it: AI can get things wrong. You are responsible for your videos and for how you use them, and the indemnity in our Terms of Service covers them.

7. Reports and enforcement

If you think someone used your face or voice in a Buzzfy video without your permission, email support@buzzfy.co with a link or a description. We review every report and remove what breaks this policy.

If you break this policy, we may remove your videos, turn off AI Avatar for your account, or close your account.

8. Your agreement

When you agree to this policy, we record the version you agreed to, the time, your IP address and your browser, to show that you agreed. If we change this policy, we ask you to agree again before you keep using AI Avatar.
