Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how the provider of Buzzfy (the "Company", "we", "us"), identified in our Privacy Policy, uses cookies and similar technologies on buzzfy.co and in the Buzzfy web application, and how you can control them. It forms part of our Privacy Policy (buzzfy.co/privacy-policy).
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies do the same job by other means: browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), pixels and scripts that report a page view or an action, and software development kits. In this Policy, "cookies" means all of these. Cookies can be first-party (set by buzzfy.co) or third-party (set by a provider we use), and session (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent (kept until they expire or you delete them).
2. The Categories We Use
| Category | What it does | Can you switch it off? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in, remembers your cookie choice, your language and region, protects against fraud and abuse, reports errors, and lets checkout work. | No. The website and the Service do not work without these. |
| Functionality | Remembers settings you choose. | Yes |
| Performance | Helps us understand how the website and the Service are used (which pages people visit, which features they use, where something breaks) so we can improve them. | Yes |
| Targeting | Measures whether our advertising works and lets advertising platforms show you relevant Buzzfy ads elsewhere. In some US states this counts as "selling" or "sharing" personal information or "targeted advertising". | Yes |
3. Providers
| Provider | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Buzzfy (first-party) | Strictly necessary | Sign-in session, language, country and region used to apply the right cookie rules, security |

The list of individual cookies, with their names and how long each one lasts, is shown below and in Cookie settings. It is generated from a regular scan of our website, so it stays up to date. We update this Policy when we add or remove a provider.
4. When Cookies Are Set
- Strictly necessary cookies are set as soon as you visit.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Türkiye, California and every other region not listed in the next point, functionality, performance and targeting cookies are set only after you agree in our cookie banner. If you click "Decline all" or close the banner, they are not set.
- In US states other than California (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon and other states with privacy laws), these cookies may be set when you visit. You can opt out at any time through "Your Privacy Choices" or Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not set targeting cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
- Cookie settings. Use the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page to change or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving consent.
- Your Privacy Choices. US residents can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising at buzzfy.co/your-privacy-choices.
- Global Privacy Control. We honor GPC signals as described above.
- Browser settings. All browsers let you view, block and delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or paying.
- Provider settings. Meta: facebook.com/ads/preferences. TikTok: tiktok.com/setting/personalized-ad.
We ask for your choice again after 12 months, or earlier if we add a provider that needs your consent.
6. Data Collected Through Cookies and How Long We Keep It
Cookies may collect your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages and screens you visit, how you arrived at our site (referrer and campaign parameters), and the actions you take. Cookie lifetimes are listed in the table above. Analytics and advertising data is kept only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy and in our Privacy Policy. Records of your cookie choices are kept for up to 2 years.
