Reel edits

Every plan

New versions of reels that worked.

Reel edits are new versions of your own best reels. Buzzfy changes the part that decides whether a stranger keeps watching (the opening, the words on screen, the frame or a reply sticker) and posts each one as a trial reel. Each version is new to Instagram, not a copy.

Every edit type, on every plan.

An animation of the four edits on one cooking reel: its strongest sentence plays first, subtitles appear for people watching without sound, the video is framed on a new background, and a reply sticker with a comment written for the video appears.

Reel edits

How it works

  1. It watches each reel

Buzzfy checks whether a reel has text on screen and how fast people swipe away. That decides which edit it gets.

  2. It picks the edit

Slow start? A new opening. Speech but no words on screen? Subtitles. Strong start? A fresh background. Most reels also get a reply sticker version.

  3. Winners get more

A version that passes half your original's views, or 10K, gets new versions of its own.

An animation of how Buzzfy picks an edit. It reads a reel for words on screen and early swipe-aways: a reel with no words on screen and a slow start gets a new opening and subtitles, a reel with captions and a strong start gets a new background, and most reels also get a reply sticker version.

What changes

  • A new opening

Your strongest whole sentence plays first, never cut mid-word, then the reel runs as before. If nothing beats your opening, the reel is left alone.

  • Subtitles for sound-off viewers

Short captions, a few words at a time, for people watching without sound. Skipped when the reel already has text on screen.

  • A fresh background

Your video, scaled down and framed on a textured background. 7 backgrounds in rotation, and a winning line never repeats one.

  • A reply sticker

A reply card in Instagram's style, placed away from faces and text. The comment is written by AI for your video. It's never a real viewer's comment.

  • Winners get re-edited

When a version works, it gets a new background, a new subtitle style or a new comment, and jumps the queue.

  • Never running dry

Small catalog? When you're about to run out, we try your reels again in new styles.

A new opening

Your best line, first.

When a lot of viewers swipe away in the first seconds, Buzzfy scores every sentence in your reel as a possible opening and puts the strongest one at the start. Then the whole reel plays as before.

  • Whole sentences, never cut mid-word
  • No speech? It picks a strong visual moment instead
  • Nothing better? The reel stays as it is, and no edit is posted
An animation of a new opening. Buzzfy scores each sentence of a reel's transcript, finds the strongest line 18 seconds in, puts that whole sentence at the start before the reel plays as usual, and notes that a reel with nothing better is left as it is.

Re-edited until they win

Winners get more chances.

Every edit is checked after 1, 3 and 7 days. Pass 10K views or half your original's views, and Buzzfy makes new versions that move to the front of the queue. A version that hasn't worked by day 7 stops there, unless you're about to run out of posts.

A new version of a winner wins again 34 times in 100. A first repost: 18.

“Win” means it matched the creator's median reel or passed 10K views. Buzzfy trial reels.

An animation of re-edits. A new version of a reel is checked on day 1, 3 and 7; once it passes half the original's views it gets two new versions that go to the front of the queue, while a version that stays under the line stops at day 7.

By the numbers

404 of 557

pairs won by the version with subtitles. Same video, posted twice to strangers.

Buzzfy trial reels: the same reel posted once with subtitles and once on a new background. Median 1,041 views with subtitles, 225 without.

Good to know

What an edit is, and isn't

It's your video: your voice and your face. We don't generate new footage. AI picks the opening, transcribes your speech for subtitles and writes the sticker comment, and you can delete a ready edit before it posts. Most edits are quiet; on accounts with 1K–20K followers, 19 in 100 beat the creator's usual reel, and those carry the growth.

Questions

How do I repost a reel without it being flagged as a duplicate?

Change what viewers see. Buzzfy re-edits every version with a new opening, subtitles, a fresh background or a reply sticker, so it's new to Instagram, not a copy. No tool can promise how Instagram treats a post; Instagram makes the final call on each one.

What does Buzzfy change in my reels?

Four things, usually one or two at a time: the opening, the words on screen, the frame around the video and a reply sticker. Your footage and your voice stay the same. Each version keeps your original's cover.

Do subtitles help reels get more views?

In our own tests, the subtitled version usually won. When the same video went out twice to strangers, once with subtitles and once on a new background, the version with subtitles got more views in 404 of 557 pairs. Buzzfy adds them only when a reel has speech and no text on screen.

Does Buzzfy use AI to edit my videos?

Yes. AI picks the strongest opening (a sentence, or a visual moment when nobody speaks), transcribes your speech for subtitles, writes the comment on the reply sticker and finds a spot for it away from faces and text. Your footage stays your own, and you can delete a ready edit before it posts.

Will edits change my voice or face?

No. It's your own footage and voice, with a new opening, words on screen, a new frame or a reply sticker.

Is the comment on the reply sticker real?

It's written by AI for your video, in your video's language, and shown as a reply card. It isn't a real viewer's comment, and the name on it is made up. On sensitive topics the comments stay gentle, or no sticker is made.
