Buzzfy for Claude

Connect Claude to your Instagram.

Add Buzzfy as a custom connector on claude.ai, allow it on Buzzfy's page, then choose which tools Claude may run. It takes a few minutes.

A Claude account. Anthropic says connectors depend on your plan, and on Team or Enterprise an owner adds them.

Set it up

  1. Open Connectors

    Customize › Connectors

    In Claude, open Customize, then the Connectors tab. The button above opens this page for you.

  2. Add a custom connector

    + Add › Add custom connector

    Click + Add, then Add custom connector. Enter Buzzfy as the Name, paste the URL below into MCP server URL, and click Continue.

  3. Allow Buzzfy

    Buzzfy's page opens. On “Connect Claude to Buzzfy?”, check that Returns to says claude.ai, then click Allow. Claude shows “Connected to Buzzfy.”

  4. Choose permissions

    Buzzfy › Tool permissions

    Open Buzzfy's Tool permissions. Set Read-only tools to Always allow and Write/delete tools to Needs approval.

  5. Turn it on in a chat

    + › Connectors › Buzzfy

    In the chat composer, open + and then Connectors, and switch Buzzfy on.

  • Check it worked

    Buzzfy shows under Yours with a tick. If it shows Reconnect instead, click it and allow Buzzfy again.

  • Use it in a chat

    In any chat, switch Buzzfy on from the composer, then ask.

Before anything goes out

With Write/delete tools on Needs approval, Claude shows its own card before any write: Decline, Always allow or Allow once. Then Buzzfy shows its preview, and nothing is sent until you say so.

If something looks different

Claude says Buzzfy has no tools

Open Buzzfy under Customize › Connectors and check Tool permissions. If a group says Blocked, set Read-only tools to Always allow and Write/delete tools to Needs approval.

Claude says a connector with this URL already exists

Buzzfy is already added in your organization. Use the existing connector under Yours instead of adding it again. If it shows Reconnect, click it and allow Buzzfy.

Its sign-in has expired. Click Reconnect, then click Allow on Buzzfy's page, and Buzzfy is connected again.

Does it work in Claude Desktop?

Anthropic's docs say connectors you add on claude.ai are also available in Claude Desktop, so you don't add Buzzfy twice.

Which Claude plans can add it?

Anthropic says the Free plan has limits on custom connectors, and on Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds them for the organization.

Buzzfy says Instagram isn't connected

Your AI app is connected, but Instagram isn't yet. Open the connect page and log in on Instagram's own screen with a free Creator or Business account. Then ask again.

How do I remove Buzzfy?

Remove it in your AI app's connector or MCP settings. Disconnecting Instagram in your Buzzfy settings stops every app at once, and the rest of Buzzfy on that account too.
